Our Story

Adcock Furniture Outlet was founded in 1948 by J.W. Adcock. J.W. was a hard-working farmer who had a passion for woodworking. He started out by making furniture for his family and friends, but soon realized that he had a talent for it. In 1948, he opened his first furniture store in downtown Athens, Georgia.

Over the years, Adcock Furniture Outlet has grown and expanded. We now have two locations in Athens, Georgia, as well as a distribution center in Winder, Georgia. We are proud to be one of the largest furniture retailers in the Athens area.

We have two locations in Athens, Georgia, as well as a distribution center in Winder, Georgia. Our main store is located at 2550 Atlanta Highway, Athens, Georgia 30606. Our second store is located at 3400 Atlanta Highway, Athens, Georgia 30606. Our distribution center is located at 100 Distribution Drive, Winder, Georgia 30680.

Our Hours

Our main store is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Our second store is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Our distribution center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
